Project Specialist
[POSITION SUMMARY]
This position is responsible for overseeing assigned projects to ensure they are correctly managed and planned during execution by recording time of each installation activity on active jobsites to facilitate areas of improvement within all aspects of construction and modernization operations for the Elevator/Escalator Division.
[The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following]
Perform hands on timekeeping of each installation phase of construction and modernization projects.
Gather raw data from active construction and modernization jobsites to help design action plans to ensure productivity, improve efficiency and keep projects on schedule.
Facilitate proper communication and areas of improvement between office and field.
Monitor status of project, report technical issues and seek improvement opportunities upon existing field installation means and methods.
Prepare installation related financial reports as required.
Utilize Total Service, Salesforce and other company specific computer tools.
Maintain strong rapport with office and field staff within the installation segment of the business.
Develop professional relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
Attend applicable training.
Drive to different jobsite, as required
Performs other duties as assigned.
[EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE]
Bachelors in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred but not required.
Construction industry experience preferred but not required.
Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Proficient in MS Outlook, Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
