Recruitment Notice: Arts and Cultural Sector, International Relations Intern

Overall Description

Non-profit organization, Light Sound Friends Inc., is a specialized arts corporation under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism in South Korea. It is located in Gongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The organization is actively engaged in a wide range of activities in the field of inclusive arts and culture including creative production, performances, exhibitions, professional education programs, international exchange, and job development and provision. Light Sound Friends, leading the forefront of inclusive arts in South Korea, is currently recruiting talented individuals to take on the role of international exchange in the field of art and cultural administration. 1. Job Description and Qualifications

l Number of Openings:  1

l Responsibilities:

-  Planning and execution of international exchange projects in the field of arts and cultural administration

-  Planning and organizing overseas business trips for research purposes

l Applicant Qualifications and Preferences

[Applicant Qualifications]

-  19 to 34 year range

-  Foreign applicants are welcome (support for visa extension or visa change)

[Preferences]

-  Proficiency in written and spoken English

-  Specialization in international relations, foreign languages, performing arts, or cultural arts is an advantage

2. Employment Conditions

l Employment Status: Intern in charge of official international exchange tasks

l Workplace:

    - 1F, Gongdeokeurositi building, 19 Baekbeom-ro 31-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea

l Employment Period: 3 months from the date of hiring

    * Extension for a maximum of two additional periods is possible through further evaluation and discussion.

l Working Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

l Basic Salary: 2,300,000 KRW per month (before tax deductions)

l Bonuses: Additional allowances will be provided as per internal regulations

3. Recruitment Schedule

l Interview Stage: Interviews will be conducted for applicants who pass the initial document screening.

l Announcement of Final Successful Candidates: Candidates who pass the interview stage will be immediately hired.

l Updates: Individual notifications will be sent to the final successful candidates.

* The above schedule is subject to change, and any relevant details will be announced through individual notifications.

    * The Application Form must be downloaded as an attachment and filled out.

l Required Documents

    - Employment Application (including Personal Information Consent Form): 1 copy

    - Supporting Documents Submission

   1. Proof of Work Experience and Qualifications (for eligible candidates): 1 copy each

l Employment Documents

    - Resident Registration Certificate (Foreign registration card): 1 copy

    - Resident Registration Copy (including military service details): 1 copy

    - Graduation Certificate for all levels of education above high school: 1 copy

    * If the highest level of education is high school or lower, submit the graduation certificate for the highest level completed.

    - Copy of your personal bank account passbook: 1 copy

    - Pledge and Personal Information Usage Consent Form (corporate format): 1 copy each

    - Passport-sized Photo (JPG file)

5. Interview Stage

Date/Location: 2023. 1.5 (Fri) / 1F, Gongdeokeurositi building, 19 Baekbeom-ro 31-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea (Anticipated date)

l Applicants: Those who have passed both (1) document screening and (2) document verification.

l Interview Method: Individual interviews (based on our corporate interview assessment criteria, involving question and answer format)

6. Additional Information

l Our corporation adheres to the blind recruitment guidelines, and personal information related to discriminatory factors cannot be provided or will not be disclosed to the evaluation committee, even if it is included in the application.

l The information provided in the employment application should be verifiable by the submission deadline, and any inaccuracies or falsifications may result in disqualification or revocation of the appointment.

l All electronic documents containing personal information of applicants, except for final successful candidates and potential candidates, will be securely disposed of in compliance with relevant regulations, such as Article 11 of the Act on Fair Recruitment Procedures, five days after the completion of the recruitment process.

      - If physical documents have been submitted, they will be returned to applicants by mail or in person upon request within five days after the completion of the recruitment process, or they will be securely disposed of if no request is made.

- Employment-related documents for potential candidates will be retained for up to 180 days after the completion of the recruitment process unless otherwise requested.
