□ 자격요건 : Tourist/워킹홀리데이/봉사비자 + 초/중급 영어실력(포지션 배정시 참고) + 외향적 성격으로 활동적인 분

We are an independent charity and purpose-built youth center for young people aged 8 to 19,

and up to 25 for those with additional needs. Our fantastic facilities are available at the nominal cost of

£5 a year and 50p per visit. We support North London’s young people with three things they deserve and need;

somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

그레이엄 파크와 콜린데일 근처의 번트 오크에 위치, 바넷 지역의 8세에서 19세까지의 청소년들(추가 지원이 필요한 경우 25세까지를)을 대상으로 하는 독립적인 자선 단체이자 청소년 센터입니다. 청소년 스포츠 활동에 필요한 뛰어난 편의 시설들을 제공하며, 북 런던의 청소년들에게 가고 싶은 곳, 할 수 있는 것, 그리고 이야기할 수 있는 상대가 필요한 세 가지를 지원합니다.

■ 업무내용

젊은 청소년들을 하나로 모을 수 있는 다양한 종류의 스포츠 활동을 통해, 각 세션을 제공하고 도와주며 이러한 세션

활동은 청소년들이 신체 활동을 통해 자신감, 사회적 기술 및 전반적인 행복을 형성할 수 있도록 지원해 주는 역할을 하게 됩니다.

① 세션 전 각 프로그램 별 장비 설정

② 농구, 축구, 배드민턴, 테니스, 암벽 등반, 복싱, 체육관 등을 포함한 스포츠 세션을 준비

③ 라운지내 현지 청소년들이 각 세션에 참여하고 즐길 수 있도록 동기 부여

④ 지역사회 전반에 걸쳐 청소년들과 긍정적인 관계 형성

⑤ 스포츠 코디네이터 및 기타 직원과 협력하여 스포츠 세션 제공 지원

⑥ 추가적인 요청이 있을시 청소년들의 요구사항 지원

⑦ 청소년들에게 긍정적인 역할 모델로 작용

⑧ 모든 청소년들의 의견을 경청하고 그들의 가치를 인정받고 배려받을수 있도록 포용적인 문화를 추진

■ 포지션별 세부사항

① Volunteer Sports Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Sports Youth Workers help us to deliver sports sessions that bring young people together. These sessions enable young people to build their confidence, social skills and overall well-being through physical activity.

② Volunteer Inclusion Worker

Our Media and Music Youth Workers help us to deliver sessions that bring young people together to celebrate creativity through music and media. They support young people’s creative skills and encourage them to explore new ideas to build their confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing

③ Volunteer Engagement & Activities Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Inclusion Youth Workers help us deliver specialist sessions that provide young people with additional needs/disabilities the opportunity to engage with their peers in a range of dynamic and engaging activities. These sessions provide a supportive & safe environment in which young people with additional support needs can build their confidence and their families or guardians can connect. The sessions promote their independence & explore/develop their skills, interests, and aspirations.

④ Volunteer Employability Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Engagement and Activities Youth Workers are at the forefront of our sessions. Positioned within the recreation area, they help to create a fun, safe, supportive environment where they engage with young people in a variety of different ways; think playing pool, hosting FIFA tournaments or just having a chat with a young person. In doing so, you will help to build their confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing.

⑤ Volunteer Arts & Crafts Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Employability Youth Workers help us deliver employability support through our careers and enterprise provision. They support young people’s career aspirations, celebrate their skills, experience and qualities. They help us to encourage them to take opportunities both in and out of the centre, that develop their skills and characters

⑥ Volunteer Rock Climbing Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Arts and Crafts Youth Workers help us to deliver arts and crafts sessions that bring young people together to celebrate creativity. They support young people’s creative skills and encourage them to explore new ideas through art to build their confidence, social skills and overall wellbeing.

⑦ Volunteer Gym Youth Worker

Our Volunteer Rock Climbing Youth Workers help us to deliver fun and engaging rock-climbing sessions for all abilities. These sessions enable young people to build their confidence, social skills and overall well-being through physical activity.

현지 아이들과 동료 자원봉사자들과 함께 지내면서 친구를 사귀고, 영어 실력을 향상시키고, 전문 스포츠에 대한 실질적인 경험을 얻을 수 있는 매력적인 해외봉사 프로그램!

For most of our roles we just ask that you’re passionate about helping young people and there is no prior experience needed! However, there are some roles where we’ll be looking for someone with a particular skill or qualification. Each role description will specify what skills are needed, if any are needed at all.

"The application process for most roles will require you to come in and meet with us for an informal interview. This will take around 45 minutes and will be held by the Volunteer Manager and the Coordinator involved with the specific volunteer role (i.e. Sports Coordinator for a Volunteer Sports Youth Worker role)"
