1. 자기 PR 국문 타인의 신을 신고 소통하는 사람 저는 타인과의 의사소통을 가장 중요한 가치이자 제가 가진 최대 장점이라고 생각합니다. 이러한 지금의 저를 만든 두 가지 배경은 베트남과 심리학입니다. 저는중학교 시절 아버지의 해외지사근무 발령으로 베트남 호치민시로 이사를 하게 되었습니다. 호치민 국제학교에서의첫날 담임선생님께서 개인 상담 시간에 제게 해주신 첫 마디는 다른 사람의 처지에서 생각해보라는 영어속담‘walk in the others’ shoes’였습니다. 선생님께서 강조하신 소통은 언어가아니라 열린 마음으로 상대방의 관점에서 먼저 생각을 해 보는 것이었습니다. 제가 마음을 열자 더 많은친구와 어울릴 수 있게 되었고 곧 영어도 많이 유창해져서 현재까지도 영어를 사용하는 데 불편함이 없게 되었습니다.서로 다른 나라에서 온 친구들과 사귀게 되면서 그들의 문화적 배경에 대해 이해를 할 수 있었고, 이것은현재까지 제가 주변 사람들과 의사소통을 하는 데 있어서 큰 도움을 주고 있습니다. 한국에 돌아온 뒤 진학한 중앙대학교의 심리학과에서 저는 조금 더 체계적으로 사람 사이의 관계에 관해 탐구할 수있었습니다. 대인 관계를 다루는 심리학 수업들은 타인과의 원활한 소통이 서로에 대한 적극적인 이해에서나온다는 것을 가르쳐 주었습니다. 심리학 수업을 수강하면서 쌓은 대인관계에 대한 지식을 실생활에서도유용하게 쓸 수 있게 되면서 타인과의 의사소통에 큰 도움을 주었습니다. 저의 이러한 상대방을 생각하고배려하는 것에서 오는 소통 능력은 조직에서 구성원들과 쉽게 융화될 수 있는 장점인 동시에 해외영업에 필요한 서비스 정신의 기초가 되는 소양이라고생각합니다. 해외영업 실무에서 기본적으로 갖추어야 하는 영어는 물론 국제학교 경험을 통한 다양한 문화적배경에 대한 이해는 미쓰비시 상사가 세계화 시대를 리드할 수 있는 도전에 보탬이 될 것입니다. 2. 자기PR 영문 The man who knows how to walk in the others’shoes I personally think that communication skillis the most important and the most valuable strength of me. From living abroadin Vietnam and majoring in psychology I have developed the communication skill.I moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam when I was thirteen years old due to myfather’s work and I went to International School Ho Chi Minh City for threeconsecutive years. On the very first day of my new school, I had a shortmeeting with my homeroom teacher. I was expecting that he would talk about myEnglish skills, but he told me something different. The first thing that hesaid was an English proverb ‘walk in the others’ shoes’. He emphasized that if Iwant to communicate with classmates, I have to be open-minded and think aboutthe others’ point of view. On the very next day, I followed his words. Ireached to my classmates with an open mind. As I did, I could be able to hangout with many of them. Then, my English skills had improved dynamically, sothat I can use English as the same level as my mother tongue even nowadays.Most importantly, I could have understandings of the many other differentcultures of my friends who were from all around the world. This experience ofhaving insight of various cultures has become the main source of mycommunication skill. After coming back to Korea, I enteredpsychology major of Chung-Ang University. From the psychology classes, I couldstudy thoroughly about personal relationships and communications. Psychologytaught me that an active understanding of others can lead me to the harmoniouscommunications. All these theories and ideas that I learned from psychologyclasses helped me to have a quality communications with the others when Iadapted them to the real life. This kind of communicating skill would be usefulwhen I have to adapt to a new environment. Above all, it is an important valueof oversea marketing field that having confidence in communicating with buyersand sellers from all around the world. Moreover, by having not only a high-levellanguage skill, but also a quality understanding of various cultures, I wouldbe the right person who can help Mitsubishi Corporation to lead the globalmarket. 3. 지원동기 국문 ‘무역 마스터’의 꿈 심리학과에 재학 중이던 작년 봄, 제 적성에 맞는 직무를 찾아보던중 무역에 관심이 생겼습니다. 무역업에 있어서 영어는 필수 불가결한 존재이고 영어 하나는 자신이 있었기때문입니다. 그러나 무역과는 전혀 관계없는 삶을 살았기에 막연하게 무역을 하고 싶다는 열망만 있을 뿐갈피를 잡지 못했습니다. 그러던 중 한국무역협회의 무역교육기관인 무역아카데미를 알게 되었고 그곳에서실시하는 ‘대학생 무역특강’에 등록하여 무역의 전반에 걸친기초지식을 쌓았습니다. 그리고 바로 ‘무역 마스터’ 과정에 지원하여 합격했습니다. 무역 마스터 과정의 초반부는 험난했습니다. 무역에 대한 지식이 전혀없었던 터라 용어들이 모두 낯설었고 무엇보다도 지금까지 공부해온 심리학과는 지식을 접근하는 방법이 달랐기 때문에 많이 힘들었습니다. 하지만 더 물러설 곳이 없다고 생각하니 적극적으로 공부하게 되었습니다. 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 수업을 듣고 나면 간단히 저녁을 먹고 다시제 스스로 만족할 수 있을 때까지 공부하다 보니 성적이 올라 시험에서도 상위권에 이름을 올리게 되었습니다. 무역 마스터는 무역 실무에 대한 전반적인 지식을 폭넓게 배울 수 있는 기회였고 무역에 대한 열망만 갖고 있던저에게 그곳에서의 공부는 정말 필요했던 지식을 습득하는 과정이었습니다. 원래 곧잘 하던 영어 역시 더갈고 닦아 좀 더 비즈니스에 어울리는 단어들과 어투 등을 함양하도록 노력했습니다. 무역 마스터 과정을통하여 얻은 무역과 해외영업에 관한 실무적인 지식과 끊임없이 갈고 닦은 영어 능력은 제가 미쓰비시 상사에 입사했을 때 제가 해외영업 실무에서 빛날수 있게 도와줄 것이라고 믿습니다. 4. 지원동기 영문 Dreaming ‘Trade Master’ In the spring time of the last year, I wassearching for my future career path and became to have a great interest intrading field during. For trading, English is a quintessential value and I havea great confidence in it. Therefore I set my path to trading, but I barely hadknowledge of it, because my life at that time had no relationship with trading.The only thing that I had was a strong desire of working in trading industry,but did not know how to do it. Then I got to know about ‘Trade Academy’ whichwas an affiliated association of ‘Korea International Trading Association’. Itook an ‘Introduction of trading for college students’ course in that summer.After taking that course, I could grow some basic senses of trading business.The next thing that I did was applying to ‘Trade Master’ course, which is ahighly authorized trade course and got accepted. In the beginning of ‘Trade Master’ course,it was nothing but struggling. Most of the terms were unfamiliar to me and theapproach to the knowledge was somewhat different from what I had learned frompsychology classes. However, I pushed myself even harder when I face obstacles.Since I knew that there was no way back, I could not just stop there andwandering around. I took classes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and after enjoying ashort dinner, I did a lot of self studies to make a breakthrough. After a fewweeks of doing so, I could reach the level that I wanted to be. Moreover, mytest grades had gradually improved and I found my names on the topside of thetest result tables. ‘Trade Master’ course had enabled me todevelop practical working knowledge of international trading business. The boywho had only an eager desire of working in the trading business field finallycould have quality knowledge. Plus, I could have high proficiency of Englishskill regarding the formal business English terms and tones. Long story short, I am here to applyMitsubishi Corporation to start my career. I believe that the practicalknowledge of trading business and English skill that I learned from ‘TradeMaster’ course will shine on me when I start to work for your company.
