Purchasing Assistant

■업무내용

The Purchasing Assistant will support purchasing and exporting/importing produce, seafood, and processed food items from all over the world. This position is a great opportunity for someone who is a multi-faceted self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills, excited to help business operations run smoothly as an integral part of our business while improving personal and professional skills as an entry-level merchandiser.

1. 1. Search for new food products for international trade (import/export)

   2. Complete and schedule operational requirements

   3. Review and process routine purchase/sales requisitions

   4. Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts

   5. Maintain purchasing and sales documents, files and records

   6. Provide information for purchase/sales analysis and develop reporting procedures

   7. Facilitate interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties so that all related parties to stay accurately informed of shipments, price status, and product changes

   8. Communicate with related vendors and customers to resolve problems

   9. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related goals as needed

   10. Assist in preparing ad-hoc reports as necessary for HQ Korea

   11. Other miscellaneous support for general purchasing/sales functions.

• • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

  • Good understanding of popular products in the industry

  • Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions

  • Excellent prioritization of assignments and effective time management

  • Possess exceptional organizational skills & the ability to multi-task

  • Must be detail-oriented with high accuracy and productivity

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills and presentation skills

  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite (Words, Excel & PowerPoints)

  • Experience working as a purchasing assistant preferred

  • Bilingual preferred (English: Professional Level /Korean: Intermediate Level)

  • 경력 보다는 영어 회화 능력이 뛰어난 신입 우대

■ 근로조건

 - [연봉] From $50,000/yr (한화 약 6,600만원 내외, 환율에 따라 상이할 수 있음) 

 - 월~금 주 40시간 근무
