Job Description

Software Developer / Integrator in Safety and Motion, Safety and Sensorics, Airbag Control Units Korea

Mission:

The Software Developer designs, implements, develops source code and tests the modules within a software project.

The Software Integrator takes care of the integration of the software components and the related integration tests (specification and conduct). This also includes the build process according to the integration approach as defined in the Software Test Plan and the Software Integration Test Specification.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Detailed design and development of specific software components in accordance to the applicable development process

Specification of the integration approach (steps and content) for software components

Provide timely feedback on progress, success or failure of the software integration

Measure and communicate resource consumption after integration

Perform the software integration steps and create baselines

Contribute to the design and execution of software integration tests

Deliver the committed work package within the planned time, effort and quality

Collaborate with the other engineering disciplines locally but also across multiple development locations to achieve the goals of the team

Contribute to development process and methods improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Qualifications & skills:

Academic degree in engineering

≥ 2 years of experience on software development for embedded systems preferred

Experience of safety and time critical embedded systems

Good knowledge of runtime-performance, resource-consumption, and inter-task synchronization mechanisms

Good knowledge of the software development process

Good knowledge of the software architecture

Basic knowledge and practice of Problem Resolution and Change Management

Good communication skills in English (required)

Good communication skills in Korean (preferred)
