*Position summary:

Intern (6 months) in KR EP PD team

*Objectives of the Position

- The incumbent shall perform internship engagement on product development of Engineering Plastics.

- The incumbent shall assist product development activities through database build-up and documentation.

- The incumbent shall assist PD (product developer) to provide technical deliverables for internal & external customers.

*Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

Database build-up and documentation:

- Raw material information (classification of polymers, fillers, additives, etc.)

- Compounding formulation (grouping and comparing by product identification and production origin)

- Specification (review and update to meet the guideline of regional Quality Management)

- Technical data sheet (review current data and prepare additional necessary data)

Collaboration with other functions:

- Cooperation with other teams in R&D to request experimental works and to exchange information

- Communication with counterpersons in regional teams (InfoPoint, Quality Management, Product Safety, purchasing, etc.)

Safety, Health, Environment:

- Need to follow fundamental EHS requirements guided from Ansan site and EPIC

- No laboratory tasks

- The incumbent shall follow or support BASF’s Values and Principles.
