[모집 기간]

~ 2025.06.19

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY

The internship will support GGGI’s contribution to enhancing climate policy databases by expanding geographical and sectoral coverage, particularly in developing countries, and improving the comprehensiveness, consistency, and usefulness of the underlying data. The intern will focus on climate policy data collection, harmonization and early-stage analytical work for the ex-post evaluation of climate policy impacts.

The Policy Team at the Center for Thought Leadership (CTL) is looking for an intern to support its different work streams, notably the Climate Actions and Policies Measurement Framework (CAPMF) developed under the OECD International Programme for Action on Climate, ideally starting from July 2025.

Main tasks include:

Collect and harmonize climate policy data across developing countries, focusing on mitigation instruments of GGGI member countries, including regulatory and price-based policies.

Conduct detailed desk reviews of selected GGGI Member and partner countries, mapping policy actions across time and identifying key instruments by sector.

Contribute to the maintenance, quality control, and version tracking of the climate policy database.

Contribute to the development of a data collection strategy document, outlining approaches to ensure completeness, comparability, and replicability across countries.

Review recent literature and practices on ex-post impact assessment of climate policies.

Contribute to the development, testing, and refinement of questionnaires to gather policy data from countries or country experts.

Contribute to the development of data infrastructure to efficiently store, update, disseminate and validate data with member countries.

Create and maintain documentation of the data sources and the methods used to process input data.

Prepare and disseminate climate data and indicators through graphs, tables, maps, and innovative data visualizations, and contribute to drafting documents, presentations, reports, and communication materials.

Assist in the preparation of policy briefs, internal memos, and knowledge products summarizing progress, findings, and challenges.

Support the development and analysis of new or improved policy indicators.

Contribute to the development of GGGI’s main climate policy databases by collecting,

processing and harmonizing climate policy data from various sources and assist in daily database management.

Support the organization of virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, and consultations with stakeholders.

Prepare clear and compelling presentation materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Research and contribute to the development of project concept papers for the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) capacity-building activities, and knowledge-sharing efforts in collaboration with our partners.

Contribute to resource mobilization proposals that seek to expand GGGI's work in climate policy evaluation and data development.

Actively participate in follow-up sessions and all-team meetings.
