[Intern] Brand Growth Assistant

Tappytoon is ​looking ​for ​a Brand ​Growth Assistant Intern, helping ​connect ​millions of ​readers to the ​stories they ​love. ​This role ​will ​support ​social media, community ​engagement, ​and creator-led campaigns ​aimed ​at ​expanding Tappytoon's brand ​presence beyond ​the ​app, reaching ​English-speaking webtoon ​fans ​where they already ​are. We're ​looking for detail-oriented, design-savvy individuals who stay on top of trends and take genuine ownership of every task they're given.

Main Responsibilities

• Social Media Channel Management: Manage and grow Tappytoon-owned social media presence across key platforms, with a focus on engaging English-speaking webtoon fans.
• Content Creation: Assist in creating on-trend post ideas and visually appealing content assets for social media posts, stories, and campaigns.
• Community Management: Build and nurture Tappytoon's presence in relevant fan communities, capturing audience sentiment and surfacing insights to the team.
• Fandom Activation: Drive community engagement initiatives around key titles and brand moments, contributing to fandom-driven growth.
• Creator Collaboration: Support creator partnerships from outreach to posting, finding the right voices, coordinating content goals, and tracking performance.

Requirements

• Native or fluent English speaker
• Excellent time management; able to handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
• Meticulous and detail-oriented: confirms they have fully understood an assignment, double-checks the steps needed to complete it, and executes each one with precision
• Strong design sensibility; a good eye for visual aesthetics, layout, and what looks polished vs. what doesn't
• Proficient in one or more of the following tools: Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Figma
• Actively follows SNS trends, particularly those popular among a Gen Z audience
• Genuine interest in webtoons, comics, novels, anime, or related fandom culture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Intermediate or higher Korean proficiency
• Video editing experience (short-form content for Reels, Shorts, etc.)
• Active in a fandom community yourself
• Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
• Familiarity with Western social media trends and culture

• Work Location : Seoul HQ, South Korea
• This role is a 3-month contract position(possibility of extension or to a full-time role based on performance)
