We’re looking for a Product Designer who is deeply passionate about building world-class design systems to help other designers deliver exceptional product experiences at scale. You will play an important role in architecting our design systems across our entire product portfolio. You will also help us develop seamless processes to enable our designers and engineers to share one common language and work together more effectively and efficiently.

The ideal candidate for this role is a system thinker who can see the world in patterns. If you’re someone who is born with this gift while having a user-centered mindset, expert knowledge in UI/UX design principles, experience in crafting pleasant user interfaces or interactions while caring deeply about how you can help designers and engineers work together better, then this role is perfect for you.

[Responsibilities]

• Develop and maintain design systems and documentation to enable product designers to build world-class user experiences

• Design foundational systems and frameworks to ensure that the design systems are effective, flexible, scalable, and maintainable

• Work closely with other product designers to solve UI challenges in response to product requirements

• Provide detailed UI specs, logic, and rules for a variety of use cases

• Identify emerging trends and spot opportunities to turn custom UI designs into reusable patterns

• Advocate for UI standards, accessibility, and design principles with designers, engineers, and stakeholders

• Advocate for the adoption of the design systems by product designers

• Work closely with engineers to assure design quality by auditing implementation during development

• Push Tridge’s design and product quality standards to new heights

[Qualifications]

Required

• Over 2 years of work experience in building and maintaining design systems that are both flexible and scalable, including documenting and gaining adoption of pattern libraries

• Fluency in product design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, or Webflow

• Being passionate about crafting the best digital products and user experiences

• Strong sense of empathy with a user-centric mindset

• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles, interaction design, responsive web design, or mobile app design

• Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices

• Exceptional ability to identify patterns in complexities

• Exceptional organization skills

• Exceptional attention to details

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal

• Ability to advocate for UI consistency, user accessibility, or design system adoption

• Ability to think and work independently and collaboratively

• Being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about product design and design systems

• Willingness to learn, improve, and stay current on the latest design and technology trends

• Being highly responsible and accountable

• Strong work ethics

• Intermediate to native English proficiency

[Preferred]

• Experience in implementing user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Intermediate to native Korean proficiency
