Designing a Future for All Generations: Solving common challenges for a better tomorrow

What is Trilateral Youth Summit?

Trilateral Youth Summit is a student exchange program started under the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea in 2014 and has been held annually since with the aim to deepen mutual understanding and foster friendships among undergraduate and graduate students of the three countries. Held on a rotational basis, this year’s program will take place in Kansai, Japan.

Through a week long intensive program, participants will discuss four agendas where the role of the youth is critical in the future (People-to-People Exchange & Youth Education, Sustainable Development & Disaster Relief, Economic, Technology & Local Revitalization, and Health & Ageing Society) and conduct mock Trilateral Summit on the last day. Various site visits and cultural experience opportunities will also be offered.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate or graduate student as of July 2025
• Fluent in English
• Chinese or Korean nationals
• Available for full participation: August 4–9, 2025
• Under age 30
• Has a strong interest in Trilateral Cooperation
