업무내용
The Global Green Growth Institute internship program (also called "Grow Green" Program) provides a unique learning opportunity for students and recent graduates from diverse academic backgrounds. The program is designed for talented and motivated individuals skilled in areas relevant to GGGI’s operations. The program allows selected candidates to gain insight into the work of the Institute and provides assistance and training in various professional fields in a multicultural environment. We encourage qualified women and men, in particular, nationals of developing countries, with diverse professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds to apply.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a talented individual to work with us in the Asia Regional Office to support the origination and development of regional/country programs or projects.
Origination refers to the process of identifying interventions (programs or projects) that will contribute to climate change adaptation or mitigation, growth of start-ups and SMEs, increasing the flow of green finance, or any other Sustainable Development Goal requested by GGGI’s member countries. It is the first step towards developing a program/project and entails:
- Analysis of policies and institutional frameworks,
- Formulating a preliminary idea and theory of change,
- Consultation with government, firms, academia, donors, and other stakeholders, and
- Finalizing the idea (which will then enter the development phase)
Development means elaborating on the idea identified through origination. It requires a more detailed articulation of the intervention and involves:
- Collecting quantitative and qualitative data to establish baselines and targets and strengthen the proposed theory of change,
- Conducting desktop research and holding consultations with other potential partner organizations to produce supporting documents (e.g., economic/financial analysis, gender and social inclusion analysis, risk assessment, etc.),
- Designing the components, outputs, and activities comprising the program/project,
- Preparing the logframe and budget, and
- Sundry communication materials for external presentation.
The successful applicant will have a chance to experience firsthand how an international organization generates ideas and develops it into a coherent program or project.
The intern will support the Senior Investment Officer and Director of Asia by assisting:
